With Helende Arkitektur, we have designed the chiropractor clinic Westloft's new clinic in Herlev. 

We have created an interior with a focus on homeliness and psychological well-being in order to reduce the sickening of the clients. We have worked with the lighting, colours, tactile surfaces and large green plants in both the waiting area and the treatment rooms. 

Westloft wants their clients in the clinic to experience peace and security when they enter the premises as part of the treatment - in contrast to the more clinical settings you often see at therapists. Studies show that Healing Architecture can have positive effects on physical and mental health such as faster healing times, lower blood pressure and improved well-being.

However, healing architecture is not limited to hospital environments, but also includes schools, workplaces, homes and public spaces where people live, work and interact.
