The Championships
The championships are a program series that is shown on DR's DR1.
The programs are a competition where 8 couples compete to create usable and aesthetic furniture out of old scrap and used materials from construction.
Søren Vester and Frederikke Aagaard act as judges. And is tasked with judging the contestants' creations, but also deciding which couple must leave the competition in each program and who will continue to the finals.
The championships celebrate the joy of creating, the good craftsmanship and dream of inspiring the Danes to look differently at their scrap metal and disposed of - and perhaps make the eight pairs of art themselves and start construction at home.
